Future-maxxing
starts here!
Don't just plan your future. Start building it.
Want to level up your confidence, skills, connections and experiences? Rotary gives young people access to experiences that can build confidence, develop practical skills, expand your network and open doors you didn't even know were there.
Get behind the wheel. Build your leadership skills. Meet people outside your usual circle that challenge your perspective. Explore careers. Travel overseas. Try something completely new. Build a network that could follow you well beyond your school or uni years.
Some opportunities are right here with Rotary Club of Kinglake Ranges. Others can take you across Australia - or around the world.
Call it future-maxxing. Call it investing in yourself.
Either way, future-you will probably thank you.
You don't need to know exactly where you're going.
Start building the person you want to become.
Local
Youth Opportunities
We're out in the community every week - running events, working on new projects, supporting locals, and creating opportunities for people of all ages.

Young Driver Development Program
Helping young drivers build confidence, skills and safer habits.
For local & surrounding L & P plate drivers
We annually subsidise places for local learner and probationary drivers to attend professional defensive driving training with Murcotts.
The full-day program helps young drivers develop safer driving habits, improve hazard awareness and gain valuable practical skills behind the wheel.
Because getting your licence is exciting. Getting home safely is even better.

Supporting Our Junior Sports
Helping local young athletes chase their goals and enjoy the game.
Backing young people on and off the field
We proudly support local junior football and basketball clubs, recognising the important role community sport plays in helping young people develop confidence, teamwork, resilience and connection.
Because sometimes the best life lessons happen outside the classroom.

Year 6–7 Transition Scholarship
Backing local students as they take their next big step.
Our long-running scholarship program supports nominated Year 6 students as they prepare to make the jump from primary school to secondary school.
Students receive financial assistance along with a transition pack designed to encourage journaling, self-reflection, confidence and personal growth.
Because sometimes a young person just needs someone to say:
"We believe in you."

Market Parking Assistance
Helping young people gain experience and money for their groups while supporting our community market.
Young people helping keep the market moving.
Each month, our club provides a $500 contribution to a local community or sporting group that assists with directing traffic and helping pack down after the Kinglake Market.
It's a simple way to support local organisations while giving young people an opportunity to contribute to a major community event.

Cans for Youth Recycling Program
Turn your empty cans into local initiatives.
Your cans can create opportunities.
Through our Cans for a Cause initiative, cans collected at the Kinglake Market and other locations help raise funds for local youth opportunities.
In 2025, funds raised helped two young local go-kart drivers chase their dreams of competitive racing.
A can in the recycling bin might not seem like much.
But a whole community getting behind young people can make a pretty big difference.

Rotary Book Stall
Great reads that help fund opportunities for local students.
A second-hand book can open a brand-new door.
Our book stall at the Kinglake Market raises funds to support our local Year 6–7 Transition Scholarship Program.
With donated books finding new homes for just a few dollars, every page turned helps us give local students a little extra support as they head into high school.
