Trail-Rider Accessible Wheelchair

The Trail-Rider enables families, carers and friends to share outdoor adventures together and experience the beauty of the Kinglake Ranges without barriers.

Everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the Kinglake National Park.

With support from Rotary District 9790 and extensive community fundraising, our club purchased a Trail-Rider — a specialised all-terrain wheelchair that allows people with mobility limitations to access walking tracks and trails that would otherwise be inaccessible.

The Trail-Rider enables families, carers and friends to share outdoor adventures together and experience the beauty of the Kinglake Ranges without barriers.

The Trail-Rider is available for community use. For bookings and information, visitors can contact us or Parks Victoria. Images courtesy of Parks Victoria & Accessible Tourism Vic
