Seating Along the Kinglake Heritage Trail

When a local mother mentioned she had nowhere to comfortably sit and feed her baby while walking along the Kinglake Heritage Trail, it highlighted a need many people had probably noticed but never voiced.

Sometimes the best projects begin with a simple conversation.

When a local mother mentioned she had nowhere to comfortably sit and feed her baby while walking along the Kinglake Heritage Trail, it highlighted a need many people had probably noticed but never voiced.

Our club responded by installing seating along sections of the trail, creating welcoming places for parents, walkers, older residents and visitors to rest, enjoy the surroundings and connect with nature.

It's a small project with a big impact — and a great example of how listening to the community can lead to meaningful change.
