Market Parking Assistance

Young people helping keep the market moving.

Each month, our club provides a $500 contribution to a local community or sporting group that assists with directing traffic and helping pack down after the Kinglake Market.

It's a simple way to support local organisations while giving young people an opportunity to contribute to a major community event.

Market Parking Assistance
Helping Keep the Market Moving

The Kinglake Market attracts a steady stream of locals and visitors every month, and getting everyone safely in and out takes a team effort.

That's where our local community groups come in.

Each month, the Rotary Club of Kinglake Ranges provides a $500 contribution to a local community group, sporting club or organisation that helps us with traffic direction and market pack-down.

It's a simple partnership that creates a win for everyone.

A Helping Hand Goes a Long Way

Running a successful community market involves much more than what visitors see.

Before the first stall is even open, there's equipment to move, traffic to manage, areas to prepare and plenty of jobs to get done.

At the end of the day, it all needs to be packed away again.

Local groups help us make that happen.

And in return, we get to put money directly back into the organisations that help make our community stronger.

Supporting the People Who Support Our Community

Our community groups, sporting clubs and volunteer organisations do an enormous amount of work behind the scenes.

From junior sport and community activities to fundraising and local events, these organisations provide opportunities for people of all ages.

Our Market Parking Assistance program gives those groups another way to raise funds for their own activities.

How It Works

Local group lends a hand → Rotary provides a $500 contribution → Group puts the funds towards their own activities → The Kinglake Market keeps running smoothly.
