About Us Projects Meeting Calendar Links Contact us Home

The Rotary Club of Kinglake Ranges was chartered on February 26, 2011. Proud to be part of District 9790, we were born from the assistance given by so many Australian based Rotary clubs and Rotary International, given to our area after the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires. We hope there will be many fruitful ventures and associations in the future. Watch us grow and progress!

Check out our meeting calendar to see what guest speakers are coming and see what we are doing in our local community through our projects.

There is always an article in the Mountain Monthly magazine but this may sometimes be historical rather than futuristic - it all depends on what is happening at the time.

We welcome potential new members or just interested visitors to our meetings at Rosewood Cottage on Wednesday nights 6.30 pm for 7 pm.

RI 2014-415 Theme by Tord   Rotary International President Gary C.K. Huang chose Light Up Rotary as his theme for 2014-15.
Huang was inspired by the teachings of Chinese philosopher Confucius who said:
"It is better to light a single candle, than to sit and curse the darkness."

"There are so many problems in the world, so many people who need help.
Many people say, 'There's nothing I can do.' So they sit there doing nothing.
Meanwhile everything stays dark,"
The Rotary way is the Confucius way. The Rotary way is to light a candle.

I light one, you light one, 1.2 million Rotarians light one. Together, we light up the world,"
